Small Fish, Big Pond

I’m just your average person I guess.  I’m currently living in Utah working the normal 9-5 turning up buisiness class internet connections for a major service provider.  Before that I worked on pre-sales for Cisco Systems so Computers and Computer Networking is definitely my specialty.

I naturally have an interest in the tech world which is probably why I have a job doing the same.  My hobbies include listening to and collecting music, messing about with any cool piece of technology that comes my way, and spending as much free time as possible enjoying the great outdoors.

My current job is pretty ordinary but I’ve seen some things too.  I enjoy seeing the world through other people’s eyes and so I love to travel to remote locations that are as different from my suburban US upbringing as possible. I’ve been to Japan twice, Europe once and the middle east.  The latter I went to because I served in the US Army and was deployed to the Gulf in the most recent wars the US was involved in there.  Although I was against the war and wouldn’t consider it the most enjoyable time of my life it was a great chance to see a part of the world very few people get to see.

Now I’m listening to my huge variety of music interests and spending my free time blogging about technology, ecology, and anything else that seems interesting.
